These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ReconcilX, an AI-powered financial reconciliation platform built by CodeLogica. ReconcilX connects with ecommerce platforms (such as Shopify) and payment providers (such as Stripe and PayPal) to automatically match transactions, detect mismatches, and provide financial visibility. By accessing or using ReconcilX, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

You may use ReconcilX only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or connected accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any part of the platform
• Use the service to store or transmit malicious code or harmful data
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise the service without written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us at contact@reconcilx.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. ReconcilX will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.

By connecting your Shopify store, Stripe account, PayPal account, or other payment providers to ReconcilX, you grant us permission to access and process your transaction data solely for the purpose of providing reconciliation services. We do not sell, share, or use your financial data for advertising or profiling purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

ReconcilX integrates with third-party platforms including Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, and bank providers. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party platforms. We will notify you of changes to integrations that may affect your use of the service.

We strive to maintain high availability of the ReconcilX platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, urgent fixes, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReconcilX and CodeLogica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of ReconcilX after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the service.
